Shyleice Mack Watson

Shyleice Watson, MPA

President, Founder

 

​A loving wife and devoted mother, Shyleice Watson, is a proud alumna of Grambling State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Growing up in South Central Los Angeles, Shyleice can attest firsthand to the lack of resources and judicial inequalities many in low-income areas face. This prompted her career as an adult probation officer, working in South Houston’s underprivileged minority communities.

​

In 2016, Shyleice relocated to West Palm Beach, FL where she spent several years working as a case manager in Broward County and Palm Beach County. She obtained her Master of Public Administration from Texas Southern University in 2017.  She is presently pursuing a career as a Recruiting Coordinator with NextEra Energy Resources.

​

Shyleice’s has a desire for social justice and equality but also has a passion for community service. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., a board member of The LupieGirl, Inc., and a 2022 fellow of New Leaders Council Palm Beach in which she is dedicated to being a change agent in her community. In her spare time, Shyleice enjoys traveling with loved ones, crafting, and participating in community outreach activities. She lives by the quote: Do not fear failure but be fearful of regret! Shyleice plans to make a positive impact on the youth in Palm Beach County.

Dion Watson

Dion Watson Jr.

Vice President

Dion Watson Jr. is a Director in Renewable Development at NextEra Energy Resources.. He has successfully deployed over $2.3 Billion of capital renewable projects including the largest wind project ever built by NextEra Energy Resources. Dion joined NextEra in 2016 and has worked within the Development organization his entire career at the company.

 

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Grambling State University. He was a member of the Tiger basketball team. Dion is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. He obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 2021 and enjoys spending time with his family.

Jaislen Williams

Jaislen, a Florida native with deep roots in West Palm Beach, currently serves as a Project Manager at Florida Power and Light. She brings over a decade of expertise in Risk Management, Customer Service, Accounting, and Finance. Holding an MBA from Palm Beach Atlantic and a BA in Business Management and Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, Jaislen combines her strong educational background with practical experience.

 

Passionate about community service, she has been involved with Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Club, and Meals on Wheels, among others. In her leisure time, Jaislen enjoys traveling with her husband, volunteering, and indulging in her love of reading.

​Anecia Lincoln, a West Palm Beach native, completed her educational career in Palm Beach County. Understanding the power of education, Anecia graduated from Palm Beach State College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is currently pursuing her career in nursing and is dedicated to obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing. Aneica is a wife and mother, whose interests include reading, traveling and photography. She also enjoys making lifetime memories with her family and friends. Anecia’s purpose in life is to make a change her community.

Deshanta Lester

Deshanta Lester holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising from Ai Miami International University of Art & Design, and is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through HRCI. Deshanta is a seasoned HR professional with a proven track record of delivering strategic HR insights and driving measurable results through data-driven practices. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her contributions to diversity and inclusion, receiving accolades such as the Florida Market Allstar Award for Diversity and Inclusion and a Leadership Standards Award.

 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Deshanta is dedicated to giving back to the community through involvement with organizations such as "Darian’s Light", the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Pediatric Oncology Support Team. She is eager to contribute her skills and expertise to further the organization’s mission and make a positive impact in our community.

Brieana Salter

Brieana Salter

Communication Specialist​

Brieana Salter, a native of West Palm Beach, is deeply involved in advocating for Lupus and other chronic illnesses within her community. She is the Founder and President of The LupieGirl, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to motivating and inspiring individuals living with Lupus and other chronic illnesses to achieve their goals despite their health challenges. Through support, education, and engagement, The LupieGirl, Inc. empowers individuals to persevere.

 

Brieana is a Lupus Survivor and has undergone two kidney transplants, showcasing her resilience and determination. She has contributed significantly to various organizations, including The National Coalition of 100 Black Women and New Leaders Council Palm Beach, where she focused on fostering leadership development, health equity, education, and economic empowerment.

 

In addition to her community work, Brieana serves as an adjunct professor at Palm Beach State College, teaching classes to Bachelor's degree-seeking students with a specialization in Health Management. Her educational journey includes a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science with a concentration in Health Management from Palm Beach State College and a Master's Degree in Health Law with concentrations in Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management from Nova Southeastern University.
